STORY TIME!!!!
I have currently been in a state of writers block so i figure its time for a random story moment. This story is coming to me as I type. None of it will have been planned out its coming straight from my head starting...................NOW!!!!
What would you do if no one could hear you? What would you do if you were just a body walking through the town with no purpose what-so-ever? Well...Welcome to my world.
My name is Tina and I'm literally nobody. You here all the time people talking about how they are invisible to the world and how they feel that no one cares, but they have no idea. I could scream and at the top of my lungs in the middle of Time Square, and not a single person would notice. Why? because nobody can hear me. I have no family, no friends, and not even an acquaintance. I live my life day to day knowing that I will never be able to do the things that I would like to do. I would love more than to anything to just be a dancer. Is that really so much to ask? I mean, come on, its not like you need a voice to dance. All you need is to be able to feel the music.
Oh and how I do love music. The feel, the rhythm, and the way a simple note can bring you to tears. I love to just sit in Central Park listening to the local musicians playing the first notes that come into their head while passer byes drop quarters into an old hat. It gives you a sense of calmness and an appreciation for people doing what they love.
Its a day just like any other day. I'm walking a long and all of a sudden I hear someone yell.
"TINA!!"
My heart stops.
"TINA!!"
There it is again! This time knowing that I'm not just hearing things.
"Um, yes?" I respond very timidly.
" Where have you been? We have been searching everywhere for you!"
Still not knowing who I'm talking to I start talking in a circle hoping for some face to catch my eye.
"Searching for me? What are you talking about?"
" What do you mean, what am I talking about? We've been searching for you it has been 10 years."
I'm so confused at this point. Now I'm really beginning to think that I have lost my mind. Here is this random person talking to me and there is no one but the people walking by me like they have for as long as I can remember. So, I quit responding in hopes that it will just disappear. I start heading to the subway. The voice stops. As soon as I sit down this gentleman, I'm sure I've never met before, comes and gives me a huge hug. I can't tell you the last time I ever made contact with someone.
"Tina you have to come with me."
" I'm sorry sir but I'm not going anywhere with you. I don't know you. You are mistaking me for someone else."
"Wow you really don't remember me? I guess I shouldn't be to surprised it has been 10 years after all."
" Ten years? Ten years since when? What is going on?" I'm getting really irritated at this point.
" Ten years since the car wreck. I don't know how to break this to you, Tina, but you're dead."
*******This story is not over, but we have ran out of time for the day. Please stay tuned for the second half of the story to find out more about Tina's life changing discovery and the man who is helping her cope.

"We all get the slip sometimes everyday I'll just keep it to myself in the sun" - SHE & HIM
So I know I haven't written in awhile, and I'm so sorry about that. For some reason I'm in a state of writers block. I love writing on my blog and its where I do a lot of my best thinking. I feel like I'm in a funk and for some reason am just stuck. I posted a video on here of one of my favorite indie rock bands, She & Him. Hope you enjoy and that if nothing else it atleast makes you smile!!

"My face to the sky Dreaming about just how high I could go." - NIKKA COSTA
Is announcing the official opening of Crazy Beautiful: Hair & Make-up.
www.wix.com/crazybeautifulevent/hair
Crazy Beautiful is my on location, special event hair and make-up business. So far I have 13 weddings booked along with 1 fashion show! I am extremely excited about how well this is taking off. I can't believe that I'm doing so much with my career already. Its hard to believe that I'm only 22 and officially am running my own business. Down the road, I want to eventually like to open up a little studio for Crazy Beautiful. This would give me the option of having people come to me with their special events. My plan is to make it so that people hosting an event (bridal shower, bachelorette party, birthday party, girls night out, etc) would be able to book out my studio as well as me and my services for a spa like party. I have a very busy next 2 months ahead of me and I'm so excited to see where I go. I could go on for days and talk about where I hope to see Crazy Beautiful and how I plan on getting there, but instead I'll just keep everyone updated on current business and how everything is going.
Other than Crazy Beautiful, I'm not doing much. I feel like I'm so busy all the time. Then when I start thinking about what it is I'm actually doing; I feel like I'm not doing anything at all. Life is going just as I believe God has intended it. There was a few moments in my recent life where I've felt that I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, and where I've felt that I was in situations that I just wanted to crumble. I then had to realize that God is never going to put me in a situation that I can not handle. I've done a lot of soul searching this past year, and I have learned so much about myself and my faith. I'm constantly reminded now about the footsteps in the sand.
Growing up isn't easy. Its going to put you in situations that you think you are going to find no way out. I believe this is God's way of making us learn to not take advantage of the things we do have. Its hard to believe that when we were little that all we thought was about how we couldn't wait to grow up.
There is a quote I heard awhile back that says "There is no one older then a high school senior, and no one younger then a college freshmen," and I cannot even begin to tell you how true that is. When you are a high school senior you feel like you know everything. You feel that you have the world figured out, and nothing can come in your way. You have completed the first 18 years of your life and feel like your on top of the world. You then become a college freshmen, and wow! does the world change. You are now back at the bottom of the totem pole. Except this time, there is no comfort of your parents, and definitely not the same group of people you've traveled the last 12 years with. Not only are you at the bottom, but now everyone expects you to all of a sudden know what you want to do with the rest of your life. (and lets face it, we are just excited to not be under our parents roof...haha) So here we are 18 and having to decide the next 42 years of our life? Umm excuse me? As we get more adjusted and start learning how to balance our lives, without the 2 people we've had do it for us for the last 18 years, we are finally realizing that we are not as smart and all that like we thought we were just a mere 4 months ago. I'm now out of my higher education and I still am getting used to the idea of having to do stuff on my own. No more daddy's money, no more excuses for why something didn't get done, and no more procrastinating. Please tell me where I signed on for this? (haha) I feel now that I'm back where I was in middle school. I'm experiencing new freedoms, and getting used to the idea of doing things on my own. I have learned more about myself in the past year then I have in 21 years, and I can't believe the stuff I've learned. Somewhere along the road of being young to being old, back to being young, and now being about 14; I have finally realized that "Hey, I can do this on my own."
Now here I am....
A Business Owner
and
getting ready to start my life with the most amazing guy (outside of my daddy)
Life is crazy and unexpected and its crazy how it takes you 22 years to figure this out, and to realize that hey mom and dad were right ;)
